Anna, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland“I have chosen VIA University College because it is a good university which was recommended by my Polish coordinator. I read some information on the web site which sounded very interesting"...>
One of the elements in VIA University College's international strategy is the exchange of teachers and administrative staff.
We are convinced that the exchange of teachers will add even more international aspects to our students’ competences. Lecturers from abroad will bring new information and other ways of teaching to VIA. Our students will extend their knowledge learning about other methods than the ones already taught at VIA.
We inform our international partners of which professional areas we would like their teachers to cover in order to fit the teaching to the contents of our courses.
Our lecturers go abroad with the purpose of raising the quality of teaching. Going abroad inspire our lecturers to improve their teaching material which is a huge benefit for our students. Our lecturers keep themselves continuously updated on new areas which also provide our students with knowledge about the newest methods.
Both our lecturers and administrative staff are very much aware of the international orientation of their daily work. This is why VIA University College has applied for and received means to cover staff exchange, especially in 2008/09.
VIA University College will also be very pleased to receive lecturers and administrative staff from abroad. We will ask for specific information on the work area and interests in order to direct the requests to the right department in VIA.
Please send an e-mail to VIA describing your work area and fields of interest in order for us to direct you to the proper department.
