Admission
VIA University College welcomes students from all ove the world to the Bachelor´s Degree in Global Nutrition and Health.
Admission requirements for non-EU students:
- A recognised entry qualification: An upper secondary school leaving certificate (+ supplementary higher education studies) that makes you eligible for entry to higher education in Denmark.
Please consult the Danish Agency for International Education for information about recognition of foreign qualifications for entry to higher education in Denmark.
- Specific admission requirements: Chemistry + at least one of the following: Biology or Mathematics or Social and Political Science on a level equivalent to Danish upper secondary C-level (1-2 years’ teaching on high school level).
Documented English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- An IELTS score of at least 6.5
- A TOEFL IBT 92 or TOEFL PBT 580
- TOEIC 760
- Minimum one year of completed college/university studies conducted in English.
Citizens of a country where English is an official language do not need to document English proficiency.
Admission requirements for EU students:
- A recognised entry qualification: An upper secondary school leaving certificate/high school exam that makes you eligible for entry into higher education in Denmark.

- Specific admissions requirements: In addition to a qualifying examination, all applicants must fulfill the following specific requirements:
English proficiency equivalent to Danish B-level
And
Chemistry on a level equivalent to Danish C-level plus one of the following:
Biology equivalent to Danish C-level or Mathematics equivalent to Danish C-level or Social and Political Science equivalent to Danish C-level - or Biotechnology on A-level (Applicants with a Danish qualifying examination, who have completed Biotechnology on A-level fulfill the requirements of both chemistry-C and biology-C.)
Documented English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- An IELTS score of at least 6.5
- A TOEFL IBT 92 or TOEFL PBT 580
- TOEIC 760
- Minimum one year of completed college/university studies conducted in English.
- English on Danish B level (intermediate level).
Citizens of a country where English is an official language do not need to document English proficiency.
Information for Danish applicants:
Admission requirements: Chemistry C, English B and either social science C, mathematics C or biology C.
