Research Centres

VIA University College, Research and Development is home to eight inter-disciplinary and cross-professional research centres. The Division is intended to create cross-professional and inter-disciplinary research and development projects, research partnerships and new programmes. Therefore, the operation of the research centres is one of the most important objectives of the Division.

The research centres are meeting places for educational staff, external researchers and bachelor students with a common interest in studying and working on a specialised subject. Moreover, advisory boards with the participation of practitioners and policy makers as well as steering committees guarantee society high quality and a dynamic relationship.

The variety of research activities extends across all faculties and divisions, often crossing the traditional subject boundaries.
