About research and development
The vision of our research and development is to contribute to our long-term strategic ambition to become a research-based university college. Our ambition is to challenge the role of the traditional educational institution in order to implement the knowledge-producing perspective in our educational programmes.
We emphasise that knowledge development, knowledge circulation, collaboration between professions and change within professional practice are main goals.
We work with research and development in various forms from specific developmental activities to strategic research programmes in collaboration with universities.
One of the special trademarks of our educational programmes is close collaboration with the companies and professions which employ our graduates.
Our profile on the educational and research platform must therefore also be based on the needs of the market and professions, involving both collaborators in user-based problem-solving.
