The visa will be issued for a limited number of days and you must leave the Schengen region (or apply for extension) before the visa expires. A visa allows you to stay for a maximum of 90 days per 6 months in Denmark. You can find a list of countries whose citizens must have a visa to enter Denmark on the website of the Danish Immigration Service: http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_to_dk/visa/who_needs_visa.htm
