Cost of living and studying in Denmark

The following is aimed at giving you a rough idea of the funding needed to spend one semester as a student at VIA University College. Of course, individual needs may vary a lot from one student to the next so you should take your own habits and needs into consideration when calculating how much money you will need.

Prices may vary considerably, depending on where you live and where you shop.

The accommodation fee for student rooms offered by VIA varies from approx. EUR 270 to EUR 445 per month.

Books and study materials – general information
The expenses for books and study materials vary from one programme and course to the next. For example, expenses for the full Constructing Architect degree programme (3½ years/7 semesters) are estimated at EUR 3,975, while the total expenses for the AP Degree in Marketing Management (2 years/4 semesters) are estimated at EUR 650-800.
