"It is easier to learn here, because you have a close relationship with teachers and you are not afraid to ask questions if there is something you need to get clarified."
- Peycho Kasarov, Bulgaria
Many different nationalities are represented at VIA University College, meaning that the exchange of ideas is not restricted to the exchange between Denmark and the home country of the international student, but takes place in a truly international environment represented by students from all over the world.
International students meet their counterparts from for example Spain, China or Poland both in classes, during project work and in the social life after classes. These cultural differences are greatly appreciated by VIA University College as they lead to intercultural understanding and networks across the world, continuing long after the duration of the individual student’s stay here.
To have an international environment provides more for our students than ‘just’ educational qualifications and experiences from operating in a globalised world. With this intercultural understanding from living and working among people from all over the world, they meet the expectations and ideals of the Erasmus and Socrates Programmes, where students are supposed to broaden their perspective on the world. At VIA University College we are proud to contribute to that and will do our utmost to maintain and build on this contribution.
