A vital part of providing international competences for our students and staff is to have an international environment at our campuses. We encourage all of our Danish students to spend six or 12 months of their studies abroad and get priceless international experiences. We do our best to attract international students and, thereby, to ensure an international environment in Denmark.
Classes are taught in English and both students, whether Danish or foreign, and staff benefit from the international competences acquired. The ambition of VIA University College is to offer courses in English within all programmes and to continue expanding the range of cooperation partners.
Outside the classroom and the project work of small, mixed groups of students, we offer activities to give international students the best of opportunities to lead an active social life. Some of the campuses are able to negotiate discounts with various sport clubs and organisations for international students and all campuses organise international days, excursions and/or other arrangements - all to provide the student’s stay in Denmark with a social aspect, whether it is for one semester or a full degree.
