Important Information

This site is your initial guide to all important information needed in order to make your first steps into the Danish educational system.

Among others this site tells you about the process of getting a visa in Denmark, what options you have when it comes to housing and the Danish grading system.

If you are looking for advice on what to do when going to Denmark to study, check out the ”Checklist for students” on the right-hand side of the screen.

Under “Tuition fee”, you can see whether you have to pay tuition, which is an important financial aspect before going to Denmark.

Denmark is a small country but not everything is within walking distance. Therefore, it is a good idea to check out the transport options, which you can see under 'Transport' in the right hand side.

Also, if you ever have an emergency, all you need to do is call the emergency service. Find the link to your right.

And more important information is available to read. So enjoy.

Grading Scales

Examination of the course programmes is graded according to the new Danish grading scale: The 7-point grading scale.

The Danish Grading System
The 7-point scale has been defined by the Danish Ministry of Education and it is intended to ensure uniformity in the evaluation of achievements at the institutions where it is used.
