Telecommunication and Multimedia Technologies
With success and for the third consecutive year the European Summer School «Telecommunication and Multimedia Technologies» took place from 1 August – 12 August in Horsens, Denmark.
The students come from all over Europe to learn and to experience a new country and the lecturers, who come from the partner institutions, create a high level, state of the art programme that is interesting to students of many backgrounds.
Examples of topics are:
Introduction to the technology of programming
Information systems and network security
Optical Telecommunication
Data bases and Java technologies
The program is organized by the Department of Applied Informatics and Multimedia, TEI of Crete (EPP) and the Department of Media University of Applied Sciences, Dusseldorf, Germany in cooperation with VIA University College Denmark.
The summer school is sponsored by the Erasmus Intensive Program; part of the EU funded Life Long Learning Program.
