Danish Erasmus Intensive Language Course (EILC)
For many years, VIA University College has offered a three-week Danish course for Erasmus exchange students during the summer holidays. The Erasmus Intensive Language Course is offered in EU-countries with less spoken languages, such as Danish. At VIA, we believe that knowledge of language and culture is very important for a successful start in a new country as it gives the student a chance to acclimatize before the semester starts.
As long as you are an Erasmus student going to Denmark for studies or placement, you can apply for the Danish course. This means that you do not have to be a student at VIA University College. You should apply for the EILC course through the Erasmus coordinator at your university.
The EILC course is free of charge for Erasmus students but please be aware that costs must be expected in connection with books, study material and general living expenses.
This year, the EILC Danish course will run from 23 July – 10 August 2012. You can read more about the EILC Danish course in the menu on the left and apply for the course here.
Please notice that we do not offer EILC during winter.
