Which other documents are required?

If you are to study at VIA University College Denmark and have to pay tuition fee or have been granted a Danish state scholarship (free tuition and covering of living expenses), you must include:

  • a copy of passport (all pages including front page)
  • two passport photos

If you are to study at VIA University College and do not have to pay tuition fee and have not been granted a Danish state scholarship (free tuition and covering of living expenses), you must include:

  • a copy of passport (all pages including the front page)
  • two passport photos
  • proof (original documents) that you can support yourself financially while in Denmark

When you have completed and sent the application form, the embassy/consulate will forward it for assessment at the Danish Immigration Service in Denmark.

When the Danish Immigration Service in Denmark has evaluated your application along with your documentation the ruling will be sent to the embassy/consulate where you submitted your application. The embassy/consulate will forward, the ruling to your home address or request that you pick it up in person.
