Student and staff mobility
The European Union has set a goal under the Bologna Process that by 2020, minimum 20% of all graduates in the European countries must have spent a period abroad on exchange, internships, research period etc.
At VIA UC, Campus Horsens we encourage our students to go abroad to study a semester as well as to do a work placement. We started this long ago, even before EU set the “2020 goal”, because we believe that international orientation is crucial today and our goal is that all of our students have these skills. We also welcome an increasing number of exchange students at Campus Horsens each semester who contribute to intercultural understanding and a vibrant campus environment.
To support this tendency, we also exchange lecturers and other staff with our partner universities and organisations to ensure development of skills, to attract new knowledge and to make the international environment a natural and indispensable element of the institution on all levels.
