The companies that choose to have one of our students on work placement contribute to the reinforcement of the important dialog between company and educational institution. Through the students, the companies receive the newest impulses and at the same time they have the opportunity to affect the student’s interest in and understanding of the real challenges of the business world. On the other hand, our students experience the daily routines and tasks themselves when doing a work placement. Often, they realise that they are able to do much more than theyhought they could.
With an international student from VIA UC on work placement, the companies get an extra opportunity to enrich the international atmosphere and have an international view on the potentials.
A work placement period is also a really good opportunity for assessing a future employee.

Autumn is traditionally the time of year when most of VIA’s students do their work placement. During springtime it is only Marketing Management students that go on work placement.
The engineering students and Value Chain Management students go on their 5th semester, however, the Global Business Engineers on the 7th semester.
The Constructing Architects have work placement on the 6th semester and International Sales and Marketing Management students on 4th and 6th semester.

Our Career Service Centre at Campus Horsens is your company’s access to the approx. 3,500 Danish and international students at the programmes here. CSC arranges Match-Making between companies and students.
