The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education

All Higher Education programmes must be accredited by the Ministry of Education and approved by the Minister, who is responsible for the university colleges in Denmark. From 2008, a system of accreditation was introduced with European inspiration to secure systematic quality assurance of all higher education.

The Danish universities are controlled by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
