Practical Information

This site is your initial guide to all practical information needed in order to make your first steps into the Danish educational system.

For instance, this site tells you about the process of getting a visa in Denmark, what options you have when it comes to housing, and the finer points of the Danish grading system.

If you are looking for advice on what to do when going to Denmark to study, check out the ”Checklist for students”.

Under “Tuition fee”, you can see whether you have to pay tuition, which is an important financial aspect before going to Denmark.

Denmark is a small country but not everything is within walking distance. Therefore, checking out the transport options to your right might be a good idea.

Also, if you ever have an emergency, all you need to do is call the emergency service.

Grading Scales

Examination of the course programmes is graded according to the new Danish grading scale: The 7-point grading scale.

The Danish Grading System
The 7-point scale has been defined by the Danish Ministry of Education and it is intended to ensure uniformity in the evaluation of achievements at the institutions where it is used.
