Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy course is a professional bachelor degree. We are comitted to long life learning and the duration of the course is 3½ years and corresponds 210 ETCS.

As we offer the physiotherapy program taught only in Danish our exchange program includes students to go placement where they will work together with patients and a supervisor speaking English.  Therefore exchange students  will have to be 3. year students to be accepted.

In future our deadline for arranging student exchange will be 15. Februar and 15.September.

The course is international in character and draws on sociological, science and humanist traditions that can be used all over the world.

As a physiotherapy student, you will be part of a dynamic and thriving student community. The course itself is a balance of theory and practice which is designed to strengthen and challenge your analytical and creative abilities.

As a physiotherapist, it is your job to help people of all ages to live independent and dignified lives. For this reason, you will be learning about health, illness and preventive treatment and about how you can help people develop throughout their lives.

The course is also under constant improvement. We keep up-to-date with the latest research and constantly update the course curriculum, so that it meets the highest academic standards.

However, we also have our feet firmly planted in traditional physiotherapy and teach all the traditional treatment techniques.

The physiotherapy programme is offered on two campuses in Jutland - one in Aarhus (East Jutland) and one in Holstebro (West Jutland).
