Nursing - possibilities for exchange:

1. International module (30 ECTS)
Every autumn VIA University College, School of Nursing, offers an exchange semester where the language is English in both lectures and assignments. The semester is divided into three modules of 10 ECTS points each.

The three units are:

• Nursing Management and Intervention (10 ects)
• Interprofessional Collaboration in Health Care and Community Settings(10 ects)
• Nursing Management of Chronic Illness and Home Health Nursing(10 ects)

In each unit, you will have both theory and clinical practice. The international module takes place at Viborg Campus. It starts late August (week 35) and ends mid December. Clinical studies are compulsory for Danish students in January. 
The international module is open to all nursing students.

Every year some of the students from VIA's own schools join the international module improving their English skills and gaining intercultural competences.

We guarantee that during your international course, you will be challenged. We can also guarantee that it requires your attention and effort in learning.

However, you will be given so much from the relation with the patients, the supervisors, the lectures and the fellow students which you will meet at the faculty.

The semester is free of charge for students coming from institutions with a bilateral agreement with VIAUC. For students without a bilateral agreement the current tuition fee is 5000 EUR.

2. Other possibilities for exchange
If your university or school has a bilateral agreement with VIAUC, another possibility is to do exchange in one module or for a whole semester at one of the campuses with nursing courses in VIA or doing an exchange in a clinical setting.

If you are from a Scandinavian country, you will be able to understand lecturing in Danish, and you will have possibility of doing your assignments in your own language.
