University Foundation Course

In cooperation with the UK Express/ESL Course in Tsinghua University, VIA University College offers a Foundation Course for students who wish to study in Denmark. This Foundation Course is tailor-made for Chinese students and prepares students for European study techniques.
The aim of the course is to give students general knowledge of Western culture, an introduction to university study skills and to improve the students’ skills in relation to using English as a study language.

Course Objectives:

To build your confidence in your English communication skills for academic and social life
To extend and strengthen your academic and practical skills relevant to the study programmes
To develop your proficiency in academic working methods
To build your IT skills and knowledge
To develop your intercultural communication skills

There will be evaluations and tests during the semester and a final examination will be held at the end of the course. Successful completion of the Foundation Course will give you access to a place in one of VIA University College's international programmes. The duration of the Foundation Course is 17 weeks.
