Introduction

The purpose is:

• to make the student feel welcome and secure at the Gedved College of Education through an introduction.
• to give the student an impression of the Gedved College of Education as a place of education through an introduction and ,thereby, giving him/her the possibility of forming an impression of his/her own possibilities as a student at both a vocational and personal level. 

The goals are:

• that the student has seen the Gedved College of Education's physical setting.
• that the student has met some of the people, both teachers and technical administrative staff with whom the student will come in contact.
• that the student has the opportunity to relate to the Gedved College of Education's teaching and outlook on learning.
• that the student is involved in a dialogue about views on culture and to some extent on Danish culture.
• that the student becomes familiar with some of the possibilities of the area outside of the Gedved College of Education.
• that the student is informed of the opportunities of recreational activities at Campus Horsens.
