Geographical Placement
Horsens/Gedved is situated at the east coast of Jutland. Jutland is the only part of Denmark which is connected to Europe. The rest of Denmark consists of islands. The largest ones are Funen and Zealand. These islands are connected to Jutland with bridges.

Horsens/Gedved is very easy to get to as the motorway, which goes all through Europe, passes right by. Aarhus, the second largest city in Denmark, is only 45 minutes away by car. You can drive to the German border in 1½ hour. From the tip of Jutland (3 hours' drive by car from Horsens), there are ferry connections to both Norway and Sweden. And across Jutland, in Esbjerg (1½ hour drive by car from Horsens), there are ferry connections to Great Britain.
