Course structure and lengthThe Bachelor Programme in Occupational Therapy lasts three and a half years (210 ECTS points). The course comprises seven semesters each covering two modules, which make up the complete programme.
The semesters are linked in that each semester builds on the knowledge and skills from the preceding semesters. The programme alternates between theoretical teaching and clinical practice.
As we are aware that our students have different learning requirements, we use different teaching methods. You will play an active part in lectures, classes, dialogue-based instruction, group work, problem-oriented projects, supervision, self-study and exercises.
As a student of Occupational Therapy you will work both individually and in cooperation with other students.
We have chosen teaching methods that are consistent with the practice and conceptual foundations of Occupational Therapy. This means that we stress the importance of learning and development through activity and participation.
These teaching methods will help you to develop both academic and personal skills.
The teachers are responsible for organising a stimulating learning environment. In return, you have to be committed, independent and active and to take responsibility for your own learning.
