"It is easier to learn here, because you have a close relationship with teachers and you are not afraid to ask questions if there is something you need to get clarified."

Interdisciplinary Collaborative Work

It is very important for the various health professionals in Denmark to be able to work in interdisciplinary teams. Occupational Therapists often work with nurses, physiotherapists and others. Our bachelor programmes are different, but we have a common goal to solve the individual patient’s problem to the best of our ability.

Our bachelor programmes prepare our students for such an interdisciplinary approach. The third semester (in the second academic year) has a 10-week (15 ECTS points) teaching programme common to all health professional bachelor programmes in Denmark, which offers students the chance to take part in courses at any one educational centre.

In addition, the final semester offers an optional subject which you will study for six weeks (9 ECTS points). You are free to choose whether to carry on with “your own” programme or spend six weeks studying on one of the other health programmes.
