Our Main Activities

The School of Continuing Education manages activities for educated professionals, companies and organisations. Our activities cover different fields including pedagogical, health professional, social, managerial, technological and commercial courses.

Continuing Education has special expertise within the development of interdisciplinary functions in organisations.

Professionalism and quality are the keywords in VIA’s activities, many of which cut across the traditional subject knowledges and combine them in new ways.

The School of Continuing Education offers a variety of courses and continuing education programmes held primarily in Danish. Additionally, the school is involved in a series of activities. We regularly organise conferences around topical themes as well as seminars for different specialists. Furthermore, we offer consultancy and innovative activities of every kind as well as guidance on competency development and organisational development.

Continuing Education emphasises a high level of professional quality throughout all processes and customer satisfaction. We achieve this through e.g. dialogue and networking with relevant professional settings and customer representatives and through close cooperation with partners, being other educational institutions and local, regional and central authorities.
The teachers at the School of Continuing Education have academic Master’s degrees. The teachers have specific professional qualifications as well as pedagogical didactic qualifications. Several of the teachers also have PhDs.
